Junior Tycoon (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a mobile application designed to help children and teenagers learn basic business management skills. Protecting user privacy—especially children’s privacy—is a core principle of the App’s design.

1. Privacy-by-Design & Local-First Architecture

Junior Tycoon is built using a local-first, privacy-by-design architecture.

• We do not operate, own, or maintain any backend servers.
• We do not collect, transmit, sync, analyze, or store user data on external servers.
• All data remains exclusively on the user’s physical device and under the user’s control.

Because of this architecture, Junior Tycoon does not engage in traditional online data collection.

2. Information Entered by Users (Stored Locally Only)

The App allows users to voluntarily enter information for functional purposes, such as tracking jobs or generating invoices. This information is stored only on the device and is never accessible to us.

2.1 User Information

Users may enter:

• Name
• Business name
• Email address
• Phone number

2.2 Client (Third-Party) Information

Users may enter information about their own clients, including:

• Client names
• Client phone numbers

Users are solely responsible for ensuring they have permission to store and use any third-party information entered into the App.

2.3 Financial Information

Users may record:

• Earnings
• Expenses
• Job amounts
• Totals and summaries

All financial information is stored locally and is never transmitted.

3. Data Storage, Retention & Deletion

• All data is stored locally on the user’s device using internal storage mechanisms (such as local storage and the device filesystem).
• We do not retain copies of user data.
• We cannot access, retrieve, modify, or delete user data on the user’s behalf.
• Deleting the App will permanently delete all locally stored data unless the user has manually created a backup.

4. Device Permissions

Junior Tycoon requests limited system permissions strictly for core functionality:

4.1 Filesystem / Photos Access

Used to:

• Save PDF invoices
• Export or import JSON backup files

4.2 System Share Sheet

Used to:

• Share invoices or files using the device’s native sharing options (e.g., email or messaging apps)

The App does not monitor, intercept, or store any content shared using these system features.

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 RevenueCat (In-App Purchases)

Junior Tycoon uses RevenueCat to manage optional Pro tier subscriptions and purchases.

• RevenueCat processes anonymous purchase receipts to validate subscription status.
• We do not receive personal information or user-generated content from RevenueCat.
• RevenueCat operates under its own privacy policy.

5.2 App Stores

Payments and subscriptions are processed by:

• Apple App Store
• Google Play Store

These platforms may collect data according to their respective privacy policies.

6. No Analytics, Tracking, or Advertising

Junior Tycoon does not use:

• Analytics SDKs (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel)
• Advertising SDKs
• Behavioral tracking tools
• Cross-app tracking or profiling technologies

User activity is not tracked or analyzed.

7. Children’s Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)

Junior Tycoon is intended for use by children and teenagers and complies with applicable children’s privacy regulations.

• We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
• We do not extract, transmit, or analyze personal data from the device.
• All data remains under the control of the user or their parent/guardian.

Data security depends on the security of the user’s physical device. We recommend:

• Using a device passcode or biometric lock
• Keeping the operating system up to date

10. Parental Supervision & Safety

Junior Tycoon is an educational tool only. The App does not supervise or manage real-world interactions.

• Children should always have parental or guardian supervision when performing jobs, contacting clients, or sharing any personal information.
• We do not monitor or control interactions between users and third parties.
• Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring the safety of children while using the App for real-world tasks.

By using the App, you acknowledge that Junior Tycoon is not responsible for any accidents, disputes, or other outcomes that may occur during real-world activities.
